If you ever wondered what a sonic baby between Radiohead and Red Hot Chili Peppers with a horn section would sound like, then look no further! The King of Mars (TKOM) has evolved from a four-piece rock band into a larger group with synths, auxiliary percussion, and a horn section. Their sound shakes the foundation of traditional rock music by encompassing Jazz, Funk, and Soul musicality alongside insightful lyricism. TKOM regularly performs at many popular Chicago venues and in 2017, successfully completed their first tour where TKOM gained fans along the East Coast and throughout the South and Midwest. The King of Mars (TKOM) is a Chicago-based band that recently released their second EP, “Bleach and Aspirin”. We have built up a fan base since forming and are looking to develop and expand what we have started. We work hard to promote and make each show the best it can be for each party involved.
