Last Second Drop is Chicago's own blues-rock band with a truly unique vibe. Their music, fresh rock riffs with melodic overtones and pop-inspired hooks, is both fun and engaging. Featuring a little rock, pop, and blues, Last Second Drop brings new and exciting rock to Chicago's local music arena. Last Second Drop formed as The Hooks in February of 2010 when Adam Braverman returned to Chicago and reunited with his friend and long-time collaborator, Ashish (Ash) Davé. Ash and Adam had worked with each other previously as members of the Three Wisemen, a Chicago-based blues-rock band that actively performed throughout the city from 2005 – 2007. With the desire to branch out from the blues and move towards creating a more original sound, Ash introduced Adam to Josh Cantor, a local Chicago singer-songwriter. Adam, Ash and Josh shared the same musical vision: to write fun and engaging songs that make people move. They began working on original songs immediately. With Adam and Josh playing guitar, singing and writing most of the material, and Ash anchoring the music with tasteful bass lines, there was still one piece missing from the puzzle. That piece fell into place when Adam suggested that his good friend Miles Fox audition on the drums. Miles' natural talent and energy made him the perfect fit to drive the band's percussion end. In 2013, a switch was made and Chris Losacco came on board to handle the vocal vibes. The dynamic power and tone-filled growl of Chris' vocals fit "The Drop" sound perfectly. Collectively, the members of LSD have a wealth of performance experience under their belts. In addition to playing at notable Chicago venues such as the famous The House of Blues, The Metro, Lincoln Hall, The Cubby Bear, The Elbo Room, Double Door, Buddy Guy's Legends, U.S. Cellular Field, The Wisefool's Pub, The Tonic Room, Reggies Live, The Ivy, The Union Bar, The Store, Sylvie's Lounge ,and the famous Drinkin' on Lincoln Pub Crawl and Guiness OysterFest. LSD musicians have performed in bars and clubs in Albuquerque, Colorado, Utah, Austin, Huntington Beach, DC, and across the world in Taipei, Taiwan and Mumbai, India. With music as diverse as their backgrounds, Last Second Drop provide their audience with a unique listening experience: a bit rock, a bit blues, and a bit pop. Their lyrics tell stories of love, loss, relationships and life, while their music twists and turns through improvisational highs and lows. After all, what is good music without a good Drop?
